This dual CQC registration role offers increased responsibility, professional growth, and the opportunity to shape culture and quality across two homes already delivering meaningful, person‑centred support. About the Services You will manage two residential services located just minutes apart, allowing you to maintain a strong on‑site presence across both homes. Together, the services support 11 individuals in total. The first service supports six adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities and autism. The team has significant experience supporting individuals with complex and challenging needs, with a strong focus on consistency, structure, and enabling people to live independently and with confidence. The second service, also based in Reading, supports five adults with learning disabilities, Down’s syndrome, epilepsy, and physical disabilities. This is a stable, settled home with an enthusiastic and committed staff team who take pride in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care. Both services share the same purpose: supporting people to live meaningful lives with choice, dignity, and opportunity. The Role As the Dual Registered Service Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, quality, and compliance of both services. This role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership, offering variety, challenge, and genuine reward. You will: • Provide strong, visible leadership across both homes, • Maintain dual CQC registration, ensuring ongoing compliance and high standards, • Embed consistent best practice, governance, and systems, • Lead, inspire, and develop teams to deliver outstanding care, • Spend time each week across both services to ensure presence, support, and communication, • Build open, positive relationships with families, professionals, and local authorities, • Oversee care planning, safeguarding, risk management, and medication governance, • Lead on recruitment, training, supervision, and performance development, • Champion a values‑led, supportive culture where colleagues feel confident and valued This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys managing complexity, balancing priorities, and shaping high‑performing services. Who We’re Looking For This role is suited to an experienced Registered Manager who is ready to take on a broader remit while remaining passionate about quality care and people development.
