Quality Manager £55,000 - £60,000 per annum Additional bonuses and benefits Monday to Thursday 08:30am - 17:00pm and Friday 08:30am - 14:30pm Camberley The Opportunity An exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality function within a manufacturing environment. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, leading the Quality Team and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the business. Essential background needed for this Quality Manager role • Experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment., • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001., • Previous people management experience., • Experience applying quality and continuous improvement tools such as SPC, FMEA, 5S and Root Cause Analysis., • Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager • Support New Product Introduction activities, including testing requirements, FMEA reviews and production quality planning, • Establish and maintain supplier quality requirements., • Manage supplier audits, approvals and performance monitoring programmes., • Support the resolution of supplier quality issues and corrective actions., • Lead customer quality audits and maintain strong customer relationships., • Manage and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System., • Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain third-party accreditations., • Develop, review and maintain quality procedures, standards and specifications., • Ensure quality requirements are understood and applied throughout the business., • Lead investigations into non-conformances, concessions, rework and scrap reduction initiatives., • Monitor and analyse quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities., • Utilise quality tools including SPC, FMEA, 5S and Root Cause Analysis.
