London's highest piano lounge | 53rd floor, Wardian, Canary Wharf E14 Full-time | Tips and service charge | Immediate start Some bars have a view. This one has all of them 🌇🍸💫 Fifty-three floors up, the windows wrap the whole way round. Canary Wharf on one side, Greenwich on the other, and the full London skyline laid out in between. On the right evening the cloud sits below the glass and the room feels genuinely untethered from the city underneath it. That is where you'd be making drinks. The Observatory is London's highest piano & cocktail lounge. Live piano, a proper cocktail list, and a food menu built to be eaten slowly with friends. We opened just over a year ago and have spent that time turning it into something people are quietly protective of. We're now looking for a Bar Manager to take charge of the bar and carry that on. 🎹 THE VENUE The Observatory sits at the top of Wardian, exclusively for the residents of the two towers below it. Around 2,000 people have access, and a good number of them are in every week. That changes the job completely. You're not turning over strangers. You're building a room of regulars who know your name and expect you to know theirs, and who will tell you honestly what they think of the new menu. It has the warmth of a members' club without any of the stiffness. The bar itself is the centerpiece of the venue and deliberately so. That means the Bar Manager here spends most of their time exactly where they should be: behind the bar, making drinks, talking to guests, with an eye across the whole venue. This is not a role that disappears into an office. Live piano is weekly and our signature 'Piano Plates' are a tapas-style sharing menu designed to be picked at across a long evening with a cocktail in the other hand. Food runs seven days. 🥃 YOUR CRAFT, VALUED If you care about what goes in the glass, you'll be somewhere it counts. We want someone with genuine opinions about dilution, about garnish, about the difference between a drink that's technically correct and one that's actually good. You'll have real input into the list, work directly with suppliers, and build seasonal serves that sit properly alongside the food and the piano. The room gives you permission to be ambitious. Guests come here for an occasion, they're not in a rush, and they'll try what you recommend. That's a rare thing and it's wasted on someone who just wants to pour. 🚀 THE ROLE You'll run the bar. Standards, stock, ordering, prep, consistency. The cocktail quality is yours to own and yours to push. You'll lead a small team. A handful of people, hands-on, side by side. You'll set the standard by working to it rather than talking about it, and train the team properly as they come through. You'll host. Learning names, remembering orders, reading the room. The best nights here are the ones where the manager is visibly enjoying themselves. You'll support events. The Observatory hosts a steady calendar of private hires, birthdays, engagements, weddings and seasonal parties. To be clear: our events team handles the planning and the logistics. Your part is the drinks, the bar and the delivery on the night, plus being the familiar face residents come to first. Events experience is a bonus, not a barrier - if you've got the bartending and the hosting, we'll bring you up to speed on the rest. You'll help shape what's next. Menus, promotions, ideas for the room. We're a year in and still building. You'd be joining early enough for your fingerprints to be on it. --- 💥 WHAT WE OFFER • Sociable hours. We open at 4pm on weekdays, midday at weekends. No breakfast shifts, no split shifts, no 3am finishes., • Tips and service charge, • Real ownership of a venue with a genuine identity, not a site on a spreadsheet, • Input that goes somewhere. Menu development, supplier tastings, seasonal launches, • Room to progress. We're a growing London group - Beringers, Lockdown, Supershakes, The Eleventh Hour - and we promote from within wherever we can, • Staff food and drinks on shift, plus discounts across every venue, • The backing of an experienced events and senior management team, • Immediate start available 🔥 WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Strong bartending behind you, ideally with time in a senior or management role, • Real cocktail knowledge and the consistency to deliver it on a full Saturday, • Comfortable leading a small team by example, • A natural host. Warm, present, genuinely interested in people, • Organised enough to run the operational side without being asked twice, • Calm through a busy service and a full events diary, • Someone who notices the detail, because our regulars absolutely do You don't need years of events management. You don't need a group background. If you're an excellent bartender who wants to run a room and look after people properly, that's the person we're looking for. ⚡ ONE MORE THING We'd like this to be a long stay. Everything good about this job compounds. The regulars, the reputation of the room, the events diary, the list you build. A year in, it's a genuinely different job to the one you start. That only pays off for someone who wants to stay and build it, and we'd rather be honest about that now than six months in. If you're looking for the next step rather than the next stopgap, this is one of the best rooms in London to take it in. 👋 HOW TO APPLY Hit apply, and tell us one drink you'd put on our list. That's the whole application. One drink, one line on why. We read every one and reply to everyone. If it looks like a fit, we'll set up a quick video chat, then get you in to see the place, meet the team and take in the view - followed by a paid trial shift so you can decide for yourself. The 53rd floor is very difficult to describe and very easy to show you.

53rd Floor Sky Lounge, Wardian, Canary Wharf E14 Full-time | Tips & Service Charge | Immediate start 🌆 Most bars have a view or a community. The Observatory has both - 53 floors above London. The Observatory is a Sky Bar & Restaurant on the 53rd floor of Wardian, looking out over Canary Wharf and the whole of London. It's one of the highest bars in the city - and it's exclusively for the developments residents & their guests. That last part is what makes this job different from every other bar manager role you'll scroll past today (well maybe the views as well). You're not serving a queue of strangers. You're looking after a community of around 1,500 residents & their guests who treat this as their local, their living room and their party venue. Regulars come in weekly. You'll know their names, their drinks and their birthdays. It has the feel of a private members' club, without the stiffness. We're looking for someone to take real ownership of it. 🚀 THE ROLE You'll run The Observatory day to day - leading the team, keeping cocktail and service standards high, and being the face residents come to. Alongside that, the venue hosts a busy year-round events calendar: birthdays, engagements, weddings, seasonal parties and private hires, plus the events we programme ourselves. To be clear about the events side: you're the host, not the event planner. Our dedicated events team handles the logistics, the planning and the bigger productions. Your part is being the person residents talk to, helping shape the drinks and the feel of the night, and delivering it brilliantly on the day. If you've worked functions or private hires before, you'll be right at home. If you're a superb bartender who's keen to grow into that side, we'll teach you. Day to day you'll: • Lead from the front behind the bar, delivering excellent cocktails and genuine hospitality, • Take ownership of the running of the venue - standards, stock, ordering, prep and organisation, • Build real relationships with residents and be their first point of contact for bookings, • Look after resident celebrations and private hires from enquiry through to the night itself, • Lead, train and develop the team, • Work with our events team on the larger bookings and the annual events calendar, • Grow the events side of the venue and get residents using the space more, • Work with senior management on menus, promotions and where The Observatory goes next 💥 WHAT YOU'LL GET • Tips and service charge on top of your salary, • ⏰ Sociable hours. We open at 4pm on weekdays and midday at weekends. No breakfast shifts, no 3am finishes, no split shifts., • Genuine ownership of a unique venue rather than one site among many, • 📈 Room to grow. We're a multi-site London group - Supershakes, Beringers, Lockdown, The Eleventh Hour - and we'd far rather promote from within than recruit in., • Involvement in menu development, supplier tastings and the events programme, • Staff food and drinks on shift, plus discounts across all our venues, • Support from an experienced events and senior hospitality team, • A team that actually enjoys working together, • days holiday 🔥 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Solid bartending experience, ideally with time in a management or senior role, • Strong cocktail knowledge and consistency under pressure, • Some experience of events, functions or private hires - or real appetite to learn it, • A natural host who genuinely likes people and remembers them, • Organised, proactive and comfortable owning a space, • Calm and confident through a busy service, • Someone who cares about the details, because our regulars notice them And honestly: we're looking for someone who wants to stay. Building a relationship with a community of regulars takes time, and it's the best part of this job - but only if you're here long enough to enjoy it. If you're looking for somewhere to settle, put your stamp on and grow with, this is it. ⚡ WHY THIS ONE There aren't many jobs like this in London. One shift you're making cocktails for a couple who come in every Friday. The next you're helping them plan their engagement party, 53 floors above the city. If that sounds like the kind of place you'd like to run, we'd love to meet you. Apply now and let's have a chat 👋

Breakfast Done the Nigerian Way 🇳🇬 We’re TT’s Breakfast — a Nigerian breakfast brand built around great food, good energy and a strong sense of community. We’re looking for a Front of House Team Member to join our small but growing team. This isn’t a role where you’ll be one of ten people on a busy restaurant floor. Our shifts are intentionally small, and you’ll often work closely alongside one cook. That means we’re looking for someone who is reliable, switched-on and takes real ownership of their role. You’ll be the face of TT’s when customers walk through the door, while making sure the front of house runs smoothly from opening through to close. The Role • Welcome customers warmly and deliver genuinely great service, • Take orders accurately and confidently explain our menu, • Recommend dishes and answer questions about ingredients and allergens, • Prepare and package takeaway, Click & Collect and delivery orders, • Keep on top of front-of-house setup, • Keep the restaurant, counter and customer areas clean and organised throughout service, • Monitor stock levels of front-of-house items and flag anything running low, • Work closely with the cook to keep service moving efficiently, • Communicate clearly and calmly during busy periods, • Follow TT’s food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures, • Complete required daily checks accurately, • Take responsibility for your area rather than waiting to be told what needs doing, • Support with opening and closing procedures, • Help create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that TT’s is known for What We’re Looking For Attention to detail is really important to us. When you're working alongside one cook, there isn't always someone else to pick up what you've missed. We need someone who notices things, takes initiative and gets them sorted. You should be: • Reliable and punctual, • Naturally organised and clean, • Comfortable working independently, • Confident working alongside a small team, • Able to stay calm and focused when things get busy, • Friendly, warm and confident with customers, • Comfortable taking responsibility, • Someone who notices the little things, • Serious about hygiene, food safety and doing things properly, • Respectful of the team, the kitchen and our customers, • Happy to have a laugh, but knows when it's time to get focused Experience Hospitality or customer service experience is preferred, but we're more interested in your attitude, reliability and ability to learn. Experience working in a café, restaurant, takeaway or other fast-paced environment would be a bonus. What We Offer £12.71 per hour • Flexible shifts, • Free TT’s meal while working, • Training and development, • Opportunity to grow with an expanding independent brand, • A small, close-knit team, • The chance to be part of the next chapter of TT’s Breakfast If you think you're the perfect person to join the team and can make TT's Breakfast a better place for all, we'd love to hear from you!

Why this job exists Italy gave the world its most loved cuisine and has never built a global fast food brand out of it. Every other big category has a winner. The Italian seat is empty. We are going after it. al volo is one shop in the City of London, cooking the full Italian table from scratch every morning: a hot main, two sides, focaccia to finish. That is the Nonna's Box. We are 4.9 stars on Google and 4.9 on Deliveroo, and we have never spent a penny on advertising to get there. The food did that. We need someone to run the shop properly, so we can get on with building the rest of it. The honest version We are small. Two founders, one site, a kitchen and a counter. Ale runs the food. Elena runs the brand and the commercial side. There is no head office, no HR department, and nobody else to hand a problem to. This seat has just come free. Rather than look for someone to fill the same shoes, we sat down and worked out what the business actually needs. This is that job, and it is a bigger one. Some days here are messy. Things change. You will get real responsibility far faster than you would anywhere else, and nobody is going to hold your hand through it. That is the deal. We think it is a good one. What you will own The opening. You are first in. You unlock, you set up, you get the machines on and the counter ready before the first customer walks in at 7. The kitchen team join you around 8. The morning is yours. Breakfast. We are launching a proper Italian breakfast in September: pick your base, pick your toppings, low prep, fast. You will set it up, run it, watch what sells and tell us what to change. It is a brand new revenue line and you are the one building it. The coffee. You are on the machine through the morning. Italian espresso standards, at speed, with a smile for the regulars. The lunch rush. From 11:30 you lead the floor: counter flow, queue moving, display full and looking right, Deliveroo out on time, everyone in the right place. The shop. Rotas, stock, standards, compliance. Temperature logs, cleaning records, allergens, food safety. Not glamorous. Completely non-negotiable. Yours. Real budgets. Coffee and bar, packaging, waste, and in time your own front-of-house hours. We will teach you how all of it works. Then we will expect you to have opinions about it. The shop when we are not in it. Decisions get made. Problems get solved. Nothing sits waiting for a founder to come back. Your first 90 days Month one. Learn the shop properly: behind the counter, on the machine, on the floor. Get to know the team and the regulars. Set the baselines on the numbers you are about to own. Month two. Launch breakfast with us. Take the bar, packaging and consumables budgets. Month three. Take the front-of-house rota and the labour budget. Tell us the three things you want to change, and start changing them. Who we are looking for You have run a site, a floor or a shift somewhere busy, and you were good at it. You know your way around an espresso machine, properly. You are organised in a way other people can see. But mostly: you are the person who spots the thing that is wrong and fixes it before anyone asks. Who has ideas and says them out loud. Who wants to build something rather than just work somewhere. This job is not for you if: You want a job that stops the second the clock says so You need a manual, a policy and a manager to check it "That is not my job" is a sentence you have used recently You would rather be comfortable than be part of something It is for you if you want to look at something in three years and know you helped build it. You will need: Experience leading a team in hospitality, retail or food service Real barista skills. We are serious about coffee. Food safety knowledge and the discipline to keep records properly The right to work in the UK To be comfortable with numbers, rotas and a spreadsheet What you get £30,000 a year, salaried, plus a discretionary bonus Monday to Friday. We are closed at weekends. That said, we are a young business, and now and then something will need doing that does not fit neatly inside a week. We are looking for someone who is there when it counts. 28 days holiday including bank holidays Lunch on us every day, and all the coffee you can drink Level 3 Food Safety and First Aid, funded by us if you do not already have them Room to grow as we do. The ambition is a second site, and then more after that. We would far rather grow the people already here than hire over them. Run this shop well and you will be in the room for whatever comes next, whether that turns out to be the next site or the office side of the business. Thanks Alessandro & Elena Founders, al volo
