    £12.71 hourly
    Full-time
    Surbiton

We're looking for a Junior Sales & Marketing Executive to join our team. This could be a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to learn, take on real responsibility and develop their experience in B2B technology sales and marketing. We're a UK technology company providing software solutions to businesses in the transport and logistics sector. We're a relatively small team, and that means you won't spend your first year watching from the sidelines — you'll have the opportunity to get involved in the real sales and marketing process from the start. What you'll be involved in: • Finding and researching potential customers, • Supporting sales campaigns and approaching new prospects, • Following up with prospects and existing customers, • Creating marketing and social media content, • Helping prepare product demonstrations, presentations and proposals, • Learning our products and understanding the business problems they solve, • Attending meetings with customers and prospective customers, • Occasionally travelling within the UK to visit customers, prospects and industry events, • Working directly with experienced members of our team You'll get exposure to the full sales journey — from identifying a potential customer and making initial contact through to demonstrations, customer meetings and helping build long-term relationships. We're not expecting you to arrive with years of sales experience. We're looking for someone who is confident, curious, willing to learn and comfortable talking to people. Good written and spoken communication is important, and an interest in technology and business would be an advantage. You should also be comfortable travelling within the UK when required. All reasonable business travel expenses will be covered by the company. Because we're a small team, this won't be a narrowly defined junior position. As your knowledge and confidence grow, we'd like your responsibilities and opportunities to grow with you. If you're looking for your first step into B2B technology sales and marketing and want the opportunity to gain genuine hands-on experience, we'd be interested in hearing from you.

Our mission is to blend artisanal ingredients with creative flair in a high-energy, beautiful space. We are building our founding front-of-house team from the ground up, and we know that exceptional service and strong leadership are central to everything we do. The Role: Front of House Supervisor We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Front of House Supervisor to help lead our founding team, covering both waitering and bartending duties while overseeing the smooth running of service. From guiding guests through a relaxed brunch service to crafting imaginative cocktails and elevating an evening of sophisticated small plates, you will set the standard for the floor, support and develop the team around you, and be central to shaping our guests' experience from the moment they arrive. You will work in a supportive, fast-paced environment where your leadership is valued and your personality can shine. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead the floor and bar team during service, delegating sections, managing breaks, and stepping in to support wherever needed to keep service running smoothly. Service and Cocktail Excellence: Deliver and oversee food and drink service to an exacting standard, including preparing and serving a full range of cocktails, classic and original, while maintaining warmth, attentiveness, and consistency across every table and every service. Floor and Bar Management: Oversee the organisation and stocking of your section and the bar station throughout each shift, including proactive table resets, restocking, mise en place ahead of peak periods, and spot-checking standards across the team. Guest Hospitality: Greet guests warmly, guide them through our food and drinks menus, make confident recommendations, and resolve any guest concerns swiftly and professionally. Workflow and Speed: Maintain a fast, efficient service rhythm during busy brunch and evening periods without compromising on care, accuracy, drink quality, or presentation, adjusting staffing and flow as needed. Training and Development: Support the onboarding and ongoing training of new team members, sharing product knowledge, cocktail technique, and service standards. Hygiene and Compliance: Ensure daily and weekly front-of-house and bar cleaning protocols are followed, and take responsibility for compliance with food safety, licensing, and responsible service of alcohol regulations across the shift. Team Collaboration: Act as the key link between the bar, floor, and kitchen teams, ensuring food and drinks are delivered together smoothly and any issues are communicated quickly. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory or senior FOH role within a fast-paced restaurant, cocktail bar, premium dining venue, or similar hospitality environment, ideally with skills across both table service and bartending. Strong technical skills across table service, order taking, and guest management, along with confidence in spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation, including shaking, stirring, and building drinks to a high standard. Experience training, motivating, and managing a small team during live service. Knowledge of food and wine pairing, classic cocktails, and genuine enthusiasm for developing the menu and mentoring the team on original serves. A warm, engaging personality with a natural passion for guest experience and community, and the confidence to lead by example. Reliable, punctual, and energised by a buzzing, high-tempo service environment. Local to Kew or the surrounding Richmond areas is highly preferred. Why Join Us? Growth and Progression: Be part of a brand-new launch from day one, in a leadership role with real influence over how the team and venue develop. We value talent and actively prioritise internal promotion as our hospitality group grows. Premium Environment: Work with top-tier equipment, quality spirits, and artisanal products in a beautifully designed, modern space. Culture and Rewards: Competitive hourly pay, a fair share of the service charge, and a genuine focus on building a sustainable, respectful, and friendly team culture.
