We are looking for an excellent barista and front of house professional. We are an experience led coffee and dining space with a bookshop and antiques collection and we serve fantastic, ethically sourced, meticulously prepared food as well as speciality sourced and roasted coffee, loose leaf teas, hot chocolate, cold drinks, natural wines and craft beer and ciders. We prepare hot drinks to exacting standards, precisely weighing coffee through our high quality grinders and coffee machine. If you have experience of speciality coffee and drinks that would be great but equally we are happy to train the right person. You will need to have a passion for coffee and drinks as well as service and genuine hospitality and a willingness to learn more and operate at a very high level given the reputation for great food, drink and service that we have and are always improving. You will need to be a great ambassador for all our offerings and engage with customers as we operate in a very open setting and the role is interchangeable at times with front of house service. We are looking for immediate starts. This position is part time, around thirty hours per week, and includes at least one weekend day and flexibility for covering shifts. As our front of house professional you need to engage will all aspects of our offering. If you think FOH is easy and anyone can do it we are not the place for you. If you have experience of speciality coffee and drinks that would be great but equally we are happy to train the right person as we would expect our lead weekday FOH to be able to make drinks if need be. A passion for great food, coffee and drinks is required as well as a genuine interest in the stories behind what we do. An interest in books and antiques would be an advantage too. The role is for around 30 hours per week with a maximum of five days per week. The role will not usually include weekends but may do from time to time so flexibility is required. Full training is given for the right person and attitude is more important than experience for this role however some experience of ideally speciality food and drink service is required.

As a Door-to-Door Sales Representative at Belgian Waffle, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our products directly to customers in residential neighborhoods. Your responsibilities will include: Sales Operations: Use our provided trolleys to transport and display our products while going door-to-door in residential areas. Engage with potential customers, showcase our delicious vanilla and chocolate waffle boxes, and offer our candy packs for sale. Sales Targets: Achieve daily sales targets set by the company, which include selling a minimum of 30 boxes of vanilla waffles, 30 boxes of chocolate waffles, and 20 packs of candy per day. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about our products, addressing concerns, and processing transactions efficiently. Requirements: Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Must be comfortable walking and carrying trolleys for extended periods. Compensation: Commission-based pay structure: Sales representatives earn a commission for each item sold. Commission rates: For every box of Belgian waffles sold (priced at £10 each), the employee receives a commission of £1.00 per box sold, which is equivalent to 10% of the sale. For each pack of candy sold (priced at £5 each), the employee receives a commission of £0.50 per pack sold.
