Maintenance Engineer (Days) Location: Hinckley Commutable from: Nuneaton, Bedworth, Coventry, Leicester, Lutterworth, Rugby, Atherstone, Market Bosworth, Coalville, Tamworth and Earl Shilton. Based at their Hinckley facility, the business supplies customers across the UK and internationally as part of a financially secure international group. Their market is going through a period of sustained growth, and the site continues to see investment in its plant and equipment. An excellent opportunity to join a stable site where engineers are trusted with real responsibility and ownership. The role is days only, with no shift work. The Role: Maintenance Engineer • Carry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance across a wide range of production and process equipment., • Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and return machinery to production with minimal downtime., • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine inspections., • Maintain pumps, motors, valves, pipework, pressure systems, conveyors and other industrial process equipment., • Support machinery upgrades, site improvement projects and continuous improvement initiatives., • Mentor and develop the site's engineering apprentice., • Work closely with production to maximise equipment reliability and plant performance. Entry Requirements Qualifications: City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Engineering, ideally gained through a recognised apprenticeship. Experience: • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within Manufacturing, Industrial Processing, Utilities, Chemical, Recycling, Packaging or Heavy Industry., • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability., • Comfortable working independently within a hands-on maintenance role.
