Job description Cable-Tec Ltd are now looking for Full Time, Permanent - 'Cable Assembly Engineer', to begin work immediately, and join our busy team, working from our Sutton in Ashfield depot at NG17 5HN. The position will involve the manufacture and assembly of mechanical control cables. Experience would be beneficial, but we appreciate that it is unlikely that you will have worked within our industry, as it is a very niche area of mechanical engineering, therefore ALL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN, no previous experience is necessary, however a 'mechanical mind' and 'hands on' outlook would help considerably. Our usual hours of work are: Monday to Thursday : 07.00 to 16.00 Friday : 07.00 to 14.00 Overtime is regularly available but not compulsory. We do not work at weekends. You will be responsible to the Depot Supervisor. Own transport is essential. Salary is negotiable depending on the successful candidate, and your experience, but will start at £10.00 P/H - rising after a probationary period. The position will be offered initially on a 3 month trial basis, and if successful, the role will become permanent / subject to our usual terms of employment.
