We're looking to recruit an Ecology Advisor to join the North Chilterns to Aylesbury (NC2A) area. This role is based around the Aylesbury area, and we ask that applicants hold a full driving license due to the remote location of the role. You key responsibilities will include - Undertaking ecological surveys for legally protected species. Undertaking pre-commencement desk studies and site walkover checks. Delivering briefings and Toolbox Talks (TBTs) to site and engineering teams. Completing and reviewing ecological and arboricultural construction permits. Identifying and implementing ecological site mitigation including, writing precautionary working method statements (PWMSs). Completing ecological technical assessments. Coordinating Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoWs). Coordinating and managing ecology and landscaping subcontractors. Undertaking assurance checks of ecological and landscape mitigation sites. Undertaking ecological watching briefs. Completing targeted ecological site inspections. Liaising with the construction team to ensure works are undertaken in accordance with all legislation and internal processes / procedures.
