Chaston Nursery is a private daycare nursery setting for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We are located just between Kentish Town and Chalk Farm and are fortunate to have a variety of transport options, including being right on the 46/24 bus route as well as a variety of tube and train options close by. We are open for a 10 hr day and require practitioners to complete an 8 hour shift daily from Monday to Friday. We are currently looking for a full time Nursery Practitioner/ Team leader(40 hours per week) to join our expanding team. Are you a fun loving, caring and enthusiastic educator? Early years educator. An enthusiastic person is required to join this busy early years nursery. Must have experience with young children and be able to work a 2 till 6 shift daily if not full time. Becoming familiarised with the nursery's policies and procedures and working within these. What we would ask from you: A Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and/or Montessori Diploma is essential or experience in a Montessori environment and willingness to undertake a Montessori apprenticeship. Previous experience of working in a nursery setting with children under the age of 5 is essential. Previous experience of working in a Montessori setting is essential for a Montessori Teacher. A good knowledge of the current EYFS. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. To be passionate, motivated, have the ability to work well within a team and be able to adapt to a fun and inspiring way of working.
