Digital Art Teacher - SEND Specialist Location: Halifax Contract: Temporary / Ongoing Levels: UAL Level 1-2 Start: ASAP Are you a passionate Digital Art Teacher with a strong background in supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? The Role Reed Further Education is recruiting for a Digital Art Teacher to deliver engaging, accessible lessons to learners working at UAL Levels 1-2 . Youll be based at a vibrant setting in Halifax , teaching students with a variety of SEND needs and creating a supportive, inclusive classroom where every learner can succeed. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality Digital Art sessions aligned with UAL Level 1-2 criteria Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse SEND requirements Create inspiring lesson plans and practical activities that engage learners Support students in developing digital creativity, confidence, and portfolio work Work collaboratively with support staff and wider curriculum teams Track and record learner progress in line with awarding body expectations What Were Looking For Experience working with SEND learners - essential Ability to deliver UAL Level 1-2 Digital Art content A creative, patient, learner-centred approach Strong communication and organisational skills Relevant teaching qualification or substantial FE teaching experience (desirable) All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
