Technical Services Manager Role Summary The Technical Services Manager will be responsible for managing our clients technical operations, ensuring exceptional product support for both internal teams and external Dealer Partners. This includes troubleshooting, configuration, repairs, and technical training for a diverse range of professional wireless communications products, including push-to-talk radios and associated accessories. While product-specific training will be provided, candidates must bring a strong foundation in electronics and/or wireless communications and be capable of quickly developing expertise in niche product lines. Key Objectives Provide high-quality technical support to internal teams and Dealer Partners. Lead fault diagnosis, repair, and configuration for customer equipment. Deliver training, webinars and technical resources to enhance dealer product knowledge. Support product launches and sales efforts with technical expertise. Key Responsibilities Technical Support & Troubleshooting Diagnose, repair, and configure push-to-talk and wireless communication equipment. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of our clients product range. Provide timely and accurate technical support to dealers and the sales team. Team & Process Management Manage the technical services function, including workflow prioritisation and quality control. Maintain repair records, technical documentation, and compliance with warranty processes. Training & Enablement Deliver technical training sessions for internal teams and Dealer Partners. Develop product guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting resources. Collaboration with Other Departments Assist the sales department with product demos, technical presentations, and customer meetings. Work with purchasing to identify recurring technical issues and recommend supplier improvements. Skills, Experience & Qualifications Essential Strong technical skills in electronics or wireless communications. Experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic equipment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Desirable Experience in push-to-talk or two-way radio systems. Familiarity with networked communications equipment and software integration. Previous experience delivering technical training. Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central and HubSpot CRM. Transferable backgrounds that may be suitable include: Two-Way Radio / RF Communications Technicians (Motorola, Hytera, Icom, Kenwood, etc.) Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) or LTE Network Technicians Military or Emergency Services Communications Specialists Electronics Repair Engineers (circuit boards, firmware updates, component-level work) Drone or UAV Service Technicians IT/Networking Technicians with wireless communications focus TPBN1_UKTJ
