Your role will involve reviewing Customer Windows related work requests with quick turn-around responses for more complete and detailed requirements. Using automation, build images, build documents, work instructions, build and configure Windows Servers (the majority being virtual and hosted on VMware clusters). Builds and racking of physical serves with Customer and computer rooms. Update and maintain existing gold build images. Patching and upgrades of windows servers. Capacity Management Reporting & attending Bi-Weekly Engineering meetings providing progress updates on outstanding tickets. Ensure server builds adhere to Fujitsu and Customer standards for all areas of work undertaken, attend Customer and Fujitsu sites when required to ensure deliverables are completed within target SLA's and KPI's (i.e. document reviews / system installation).
