What will you do • Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs on vehicles, including warranty work, ensuring tasks are completed to agreed deadlines and in line with manufacturer and regulatory standards., • Prepare and present HGVs for annual MOT testing., • Diagnose faults and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, accurately reporting any defects., • Complete service documentation and job records in line with company procedures, and follow incident and near-miss reporting processes where required., • Maintain a safe, clean working environment, complying with health and safety regulations, Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs), and risk assessments, including correct use of PPE., • Support and guide apprentice technicians while contributing positively to the wider team., • Provide roadside assistance when safe to do so and participate in ongoing training to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge., • A supportive, inclusive, and fun team culture., • Designed to empower you to work where and how you thrive, balancing productivity with lifestyle., • Opportunities for career growth and development., • Competitive salary and great benefits., • Hold a City & Guilds (Parts 1, 2 & 3), NVQ Level 3 qualification, or equivalent in HGV maintenance; alternatively, have at least 10 years relevant experience., • Ideally possess a valid HGV licence (minimum Class 2), digital tachograph card, and Driver CPC, with a good understanding of tachograph systems., • Have strong technical knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with the ability to carry out safe, efficient, and cost-effective repairs., • Demonstrate a solid understanding of current health and safety legislation and best practices., • Communicate effectively and maintain a professional approach with colleagues and customers., • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team, using initiative and flexibility to take on new tasks.
