Job Title: Senior Brand Partnerships Manager Department: Brand Partnerships Reports to: Head of Brand Partnerships Direct Line Reports: Senior Sales Executive and Sales Executive Location: Hybrid, minimum 2 days a week in office. THE ROLE: The British Fashion Council are looking for an experienced, driven, hardworking and efficient Senior Brand Partnerships Manager to sit within the Brand Partnerships Team and to lead sales efforts across all BFC owned entities and initiatives which include; London Fashion Week, The Fashion Awards and BFC Designer Initiatives. General • Work with Head of Partnerships to develop long term sales strategy – responsible for implementation within the sales team, • Proactively Identifying opportunities for growth, new partnership models, new commercial opportunities, responding to market feedback – feeding into Head of Partnerships to deliver the annual target, • Leads and develops long term relationships internally and externally, • Responsible for line management of the sales team. Celebrates successes and coaches junior team through challenges – a motivating leader, • Dedicated and passionate about the industry – a role model for the junior partnerships team, • To actively manage, report on and optimise sales efforts based on success and focus on reaching annual sales targets. Accountable for the sales teams output – reporting weekly to c-suite as well as Head of Partnerships / Commercial Director. Managing risk and tweaking the sales strategy accordingly, • To communicate the strategy and targets across the Brand Partnerships sales and account management team to ensure the account management team are aligned with the sales timeline vice versa. Supporting the account management team where necessary, • Responsible for keeping track of sales expenditure budget throughout the year Pre sales • To create and manage an exhaustive pipeline across all BFC events and initiatives- accountable for minimum of three categories as well as overseeing and supporting categories led by direct reports, • Responsible for development of new commercial opportunities with Head of Partnerships, • Actively outreach to prospective clients – leading senior relationships for the sales team, • Accountable for ensuring junior sales team are updating generic pitch decks, proposals, and contracts - in line with BFC guidelines, • Taking a proactive approach to improving the sales approach for each event – identifying new opportunities with the wider BFC team, • Management of key agency relationships – supporting the BFC pipeline Sales • Proven track record in developing creative concepts and proposals, • Experience in building effective and high-quality pitches to answer client requirements/briefs., • Work with the Sales team to turn the creative concept into a powerful presentation and to demonstrate and nurture presentation skills throughout the team, • Develop proposal from idea to contract and negotiate and execute legal agreements, • Competent negotiation skills with a proven record in developing financial proposals and a realistic P&L Campaigns • Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure that your new business clients are happy, and contracts delivered post sale, • Host clients during events, supporting Account Management in bringing event activations to life, • Working with Account Management to identify up-sell opportunities and pitch to existing clients.
