Corporate & Community Events Fundraiser\n\nLocation: Hybrid working – Minimum 2 days per week based at Young Barnet Foundation’s office with some flexible/home working.\n\nSalary: £27,000 pro-rata\n\nVacancy Type: Part-time, 21 hours per week (12 moth Fixed-term (extension based on continued funding)\n\nAbout Young Barnet Foundation \n\nYoung Barnet Foundation (YBF) is a registered charity supporting children and young people across the London Borough of Barnet. Since 2015, we have worked to strengthen the voluntary and community sector by supporting local charities, community groups and social enterprises working with children and young people. \n\nWe provide funding, capacity building, partnership opportunities, networking, training and strategic support to organisations across the borough. Through our initiatives we help strengthen local collaboration, community resilience and opportunities for children, young people and families across Barnet.\n\nOur work brings together grassroots organisations, businesses, schools, statutory partners and local communities to improve outcomes for children and young people and build a safer, stronger and more connected borough.\n\nAbout the Role \n\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an organised, relationship-focused and proactive fundraiser to join our growing team and support the delivery of YBF’s corporate partnerships, community fundraising and fundraising events activity.\n\nThe role will play an important part in helping grow income and engagement across Young Barnet Foundation’s work, including Give Local Barnet, Space2Grow and wider community fundraising campaigns and events.\n\nYou will support the development and stewardship of relationships with local businesses, corporate partners, donors, volunteers and community supporters, while helping to plan and deliver fundraising events and campaigns across the borough.\n\nThis role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, coordinating events and creating opportunities for community engagement and local giving. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, creative, highly organised and passionate about supporting children and young people across Barnet.\n\nMain Duties & Responsibilities \n\nCorporate Partnerships & Fundraising\n\nResearch and identify prospective corporate partners, sponsors and local business supporters \nSupport the development and management of relationships with corporate partners and donors \nAssist with developing sponsorship opportunities, partnership proposals and fundraising materials \nSupport stewardship and engagement activity for supporters and partners \nRepresent YBF at networking meetings, fundraising activities and community events \nSupport delivery of Give Local Barnet partnership and fundraising initiatives \nEvents & Community Fundraising\n\nSupport planning and delivery of fundraising events including Golf Day,\ncommunity campaigns and seasonal fundraising initiatives \n\nCoordinate event logistics, supporter communications, suppliers and\nvolunteers \n\nSupport community fundraising activities and campaigns across the borough \nRecruit and support volunteer fundraisers and event supporters \nWork collaboratively with colleagues to promote fundraising events and\ncampaigns across digital and community channels \n\nSupport fundraising income tracking and event administration \nMonitoring, Evaluation & Learning\n\nLead collection of fundraising and engagement data across campaigns and events \nLead evaluation and learning activity from fundraising campaigns and events to help improve future delivery and supporter engagement \nSupport reporting on fundraising outcomes, community engagement and partnership activity \nAssist with preparing internal updates and reports for the Head of Fundraising\nand wider team \n\nFundraising Systems & Administration\n\nMaintain accurate supporter, donor and fundraising records using CRM systems\nSupport fundraising pipeline tracking and stewardship activity \nAssist with donor communications including acknowledgements and supporter updates \nEnsure fundraising records and activity are accurate and up to date \nGeneral Responsibilities\n\nWork collaboratively across the organisation to support YBF’s vision, mission and values \nAttend team meetings, training and organisational events as required \nUndertake occasional evening and weekend work where required (time off in lieu provided) \nTake responsibility for ongoing professional development \nUndertake other duties reasonably required within the scope of the role \nTo Apply \n\nIf you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for Young Barnet Foundation, please do not hesitate to apply
