About You You'll be an accomplished and influential medical leader with the credibility, experience and strategic vision to shape healthcare at scale. Essential Qualified medical doctor (MBBS, MB ChB or equivalent) with full GMC registration and a licence to practise. MRCPsych (or equivalent postgraduate qualification) and Specialist Registration, ideally in Psychiatry. Senior clinical leadership credentials, with a proven track record of overseeing complex healthcare services and multidisciplinary teams at executive or near-executive level. Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, quality improvement and healthcare regulation. Successfully shaping and delivering clinical strategy, service improvement and organisational transformation. Expertise in workforce planning, recruitment, retention and developing medical talent. Outstanding communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels. Strong commercial and operational acumen, including oversight of resources and budgets. A strategic, collaborative and values-led approach, underpinned by a commitment to delivering outstanding care and outcomes for service users. Desirable Postgraduate qualification in Healthcare Management, Leadership or a related discipline. A track record of delivering large-scale transformation, innovation or service redesign initiatives. Coaching, mentoring, talent development or reflective practice expertise. Involvement in research, education, academic collaboration or advancing clinical excellence.
