Surveying Lead Havant £56,000 - £60,555 The Surveying Lead will manage and guide a team of Surveyors to deliver an exceptional housing maintenance service. You will ensure that resources are effectively deployed, maintenance works are specified and monitored to a high standard, and projects are delivered efficiently and safely. Acting as a technical expert, you will provide solutions to complex maintenance issues, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and advocate for high-quality services that enhance the resident experience while ensuring value for money. Key Outputs: Lead, manage, and develop the Surveying team through coaching, performance reviews, and access to training, ensuring high service standards. Oversee and ensure the timely and effective delivery of reactive repairs, void works, refurbishments, adaptations, and modernisation projects. Prepare surveys, schedules, specifications, and technical reports, including costings and appraisals, to support maintenance works. Manage relationships with contractors and specialist surveying services, monitoring quality, compliance, and performance. Support budget management, cost controls, and adherence to financial procedures for maintenance services. Promote collaboration across Property Services, stakeholders, and residents to improve customer satisfaction and enhance the resident experience. Why Join? Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, refurbishment, and adaptations, including compliance and health & safety requirements. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills to negotiate, influence, and deliver outcomes.
