Job Title: Electrician\nJob Type: Permanent, Full-Time\nSector: Property Services\nLocation: London Borough of Hounslow\nHours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 am - 4:00 pm\nSalary: £43,000 - £45,000 per annum\n\nWe have an opportunity for an Electrician to provide high-quality, customer-focused service, delivering a range of electrical maintenance and repair works within the reactive maintenance department. This role will cover various properties across the London Borough of Hounslow.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nCarrying out partial or full re-wiring to council properties, both domestic and communal, as required, including testing, commissioning, and certifying these works.\nTracing, diagnosing, and rectifying faults using appropriate testing and measuring equipment.\nUndertaking commercial elements of electrical works, including all types of cable containment, wiring for Door Entry/Warden Call systems, fire alarm systems, ICT/Intruder alarms, installation and testing of emergency lighting systems, and 3-phase power switching and distribution.\nInterpreting work specifications and plans, completing works to a high-specification quality standard.\nPlanning each job and ensuring the required materials are available to complete the programme of works on schedule.\nUndertaking a range of associated builder's works, including core drilling, lifting/laying floors, chasing masonry, and patch plastering in areas where electrical chasing has been carried out.\nUnderstanding and complying with Asbestos awareness procedures and following the necessary safety protocols.\nWorking flexibly on other work streams within the repairs team, including working to tight deadlines, adjusting to changes, and ensuring properties are left in a safe and tidy manner.\nWorking independently or in pairs, using initiative with minimal supervision.Requirements:\n\nFull UK Driving Licence (manual)\nLevel 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018\nCity & Guilds 2360 Parts One and Two, or NVQ Level 3 including AM2 (or equivalent)\nCity & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical InstallationsBenefits:\n\nCompany van, fuel card and uniform provided as part of the package.\nMains operated power tools provided\nAnnual pay and contract reviews\nFree on-site parking\n23 days paid annual leave entitlement (excluding bank holidays)\nPension scheme\nFree gym membership\nStaff well being benefits, including online GP access, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), health testing, flu vaccinations, and eye care vouchers.\nEE Rewards - 20% off phone, SIM, and mobile broadband\nEnhanced maternity and paternity leaveIf you've previously worked in the social housing environment and meet the requirements listed, we'd be happy to hear from you.\n\nLON123
