Job Purpose To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic office environment for employees and visitors by carrying out daily cleaning duties to a high standard. Key Responsibilities • Clean offices, meeting rooms, corridors, kitchens, and toilets, • Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors, • Dust and wipe desks, surfaces, and communal areas, • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately, • Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and kitchen areas, • Replenish consumables (toilet paper, soap, hand towels, etc.), • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly, • Report any maintenance, damage, or health & safety issues, • Lock up the building securely if required, • Follow company cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures Skills & Experience Essential • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, • Attention to detail and pride in maintaining cleanliness, • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy, • Basic understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards Desirable • Previous office or commercial cleaning experience, • Knowledge of COSHH regulations, • Experience using professional cleaning equipment Personal Attributes • Hard‑working and conscientious, • Discreet (able to work around sensitive/confidential information), • Friendly and professional attitude, • Physically able to carry out cleaning duties Health & Safety • Must follow all health & safety and COSHH guidelines, • Use PPE as provided, • Manual handling awareness required Salary • £12.71 per hour Shift times • Monday - Friday 8:30am-12:30pm Ongoing work JDR is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
