Full-time, Permanent role Base Salary: DOE Bi-annual discretionary performance bonus Location: Varies in London (Townhouse Office and Client Property) Salary is based on an 8-hour workday, 5 days per week, with standard hours of 8am – 4pm or 9am-5pm , with one hour lunch break, to be flexible according to business needs and client requirements. Any hours worked in overtime to the above schedule shall be paid as pro-rata of the weekly salary. JOB SPECIFICATION The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining prime residential properties to an exceptional standard of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation. This role requires professionalism, flexibility, discretion, and complete respect for client privacy, ensuring all residences are cared for in a calm, efficient, and detail focused manner. A hands-on approach with close attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional household standards. Administrative • Participate in staff meetings as scheduled, • Participate in training activities as deemed necessary, • Produce clear and accurate reports detailing daily activities across the various properties. Suppliers & Procurement • Take responsibility for checking and managing all housekeeping and household supplies, ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained without unnecessary overstocking. Health & Safety • Adhere to Health and Safety standards and be aware of emergency procedures and report hazards to Account Manager & Director of Private Residences. Responsibilities • Act as the point of contact for the principal, their guests, and the entire household team whilst the client is in residence., • Deliver meticulous daily cleaning and presentation of all assigned areas, ensuring each residence is maintained to impeccable, guest-ready standards at all times., • Execute structured deep cleaning programmes across all properties, proactively planning seasonal requirements (including spring cleans, wardrobe transitions, and annual refreshes) to preserve the condition and longevity of interiors., • Coordinate all laundry services with the approved trusted provider, overseeing collection, return, quality control, and careful handling of delicate and couture garments., • Manage and maintain wardrobes to an exceptional standard, including organisation, seasonal rotation, garment care, storage optimisation, and inventory awareness., • Provide discreet and detail-oriented packing and unpacking services, ensuring garments and personal effects are handled with the utmost care and in accordance with client preferences., • Maintain forward awareness of occupancy schedules, anticipated arrivals, and high-profile visits, ensuring properties are prepared in advance and any operational considerations are communicated promptly., • Oversee all housekeeping operations to ensure the prompt and efficient execution of all duties to the highest of standards., • Supervising the work of temporary staff, service providers, and any other household and non-household employees to ensure our high standards are reflected and maintained in their work., • Ensure time sheets are completed on a daily basis., • Adhere to the housekeeping rotas established by the Director of Private Residences, proactively anticipating operational needs by monitoring upcoming arrival dates and communicating any concerns, required changes, or scheduling pressures in advance., • Uphold the Townhouse Values by maintaining a professional appearance at all times and ensuring correct uniform standards are followed., • Ensure the security and privacy of the property and principal is maintained at all times. Be accountable for all visitors and ensure they follow the properties privacy policy., • Provide support directly to the team on the floor., • Demonstrate leadership through a hands-on approach., • Provide detailed feedback regarding any preferences and observations made for the principal House and their guests to Account Manager. REQUIREMENTS • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working within private UHNW / UHNWI households., • Strong knowledge of high-end materials, luxury finishes, fine fabrics and couture garments, with confidence in their appropriate care and handling., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a professional household team., • Well-spoken with a strong command of written and spoken English., • Comfortable working within a dynamic, fast-paced and ever-changing private household environment., • Highly trustworthy, organised and exceptionally detail-oriented., • Impeccable personal presentation; no visible tattoos or facial piercings while on duty., • Full right to work in the United Kingdom., • Willingness to undertake a short, paid practical assessment (approximately 2–3 hours) following a successful interview.
