We are delivering some of the world’s most important projects to support the Net Zero transition, from conventional Thermal Generation plant to innovative low carbon energy and fuels projects. The Major Projects team leads those projects at all stages of the project lifecycle where stewardship from early client engagement through to delivery and handover helps to build long-term client relationships. The ability to pick up and manage a portfolio of projects and activities at any stage is therefore a key aspect of the role. This also allows our project managers to grow as well as deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients alongside our engineering and operational teams. We work internationally with our clients and other Energy sector teams in North America, Middle East, Africa, South America, Asia, New Zealand and Australia., • The Energy Transition team provides services to Clients from inception through development, construction, operation, and decommissioning. An approach that sees us support our clients over the entire lifecycle of a project. What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate… • Degree qualification (or equivalent) in relevant Engineering subject supported with significant post graduate experience in Engineering Project Management, design and or operation, maintenance and testing., • Chartered Engineer and a member of relevant Engineering Institute., • Significant experience of leading multi-disciplinary consultancy teams in the convention and renewable Energy sector., • Outstanding client focus and a commitment to problem solving in a collaborative way., • Knowledge of the design and construction of power and energy projects, particularly relating to thermal generation (CCGT, OCGT and recip engines)., • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and work with people at all levels of an organisation., • Ability to deal with conflicting priorities and offer win-win solutions., • Ability to travel within the UK and overseas, as required by the projects. As a Service Delivery Manager, you will manage the safe and efficient replacement of Gas mains within NW CMO delivery of works programmes for your business unit. About the Role As our SENCo, youll take a central leadership role in ensuring that every pupil receives the personalised support they deserve to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Working alongside the Headteacher and our dedicated on-site therapy team, youll shape the vision and strategy for SEND provision across the school, ensuring inclusive practices are embedded in every classroom and every interaction. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week. This role is responsible for ensuring that automation and AI capabilities within Managed Security Services meet market expectations and deliver fast, scalable, intelligent threat detection and response. It involves benchmarking against industry best practices, identifying gaps, and owning a roadmap to enhance internal capabilities. Additionally, the role leads the development of a robust Cyber Threat Intelligence offering, providing customers with tactical, operational, and strategic insights to proactively defend against evolving threats. • Understand, Document, and Regularly review Best Practice use of Automation and AI by Managed Security Services Providers (MSSPs), • Work with Operational stakeholders to benchmark BT Security use of Automation and AI against this benchmark, • Agree a prioritised roadmap of developments to close any gaps between Current and Best Practice in the Market, • Establish agreed Stakeholder success criteria as well as a reporting mechanism to measure success and report on progress, • Automating Security Operations using SOAR and other tools across the portfolio., • Measuring Threat Intelligence (TI) feed quality with feedback loops and usage metrics., • Enhancing TI through automation , consolidating feeds into a single view and prioritising alerts using risk scoring and exploitability data., • Streamlining Incident Response and Compliance Reporting by automating containment actions (e.g., isolating endpoints, blocking IPs/domains, disabling accounts)., • Integrating AI into SOC operations to prioritise alerts, assist analysts with GenAI, and scale adaptive automation. Expertise in Managed Security Services & Product Development • Strong background in managed security services and cybersecurity, with deep understanding of the UK market., • Proven experience across the full product lifecycle: ideation, development, securing funding, business case creation, implementation, and launch., • Familiarity with security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, and XDR. Strategic Thinking, Commercial Acumen & Portfolio Growth • Demonstrated ability to build and execute portfolio growth strategies across diverse customer segments (e.g., SMB, CSP)., • High commercial awareness, including product selection, justification, and price negotiation., • Skilled in translating business goals into actionable roadmaps that drive market growth. Fluency in Automation & AI for Security Services • Strong understanding of automation and AI concepts and their practical application in managed security services., • Ability to identify service opportunities and address implementation challenges related to emerging technologies., • Experience applying automation to improve efficiency, scalability, and threat response.
