We are recruiting Residential Support Workers to join a brand-new solo EBD children’s home supporting one young person on a 2:1 staffing ratio. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new home from the very beginning, where relationships, care and consistency come first. Salary: £13 per hour | £60 per sleep Hours: 165–173 hours per month (including 2 monthly team meetings) Shift Pattern We are very flexible and open to: • Single shifts, • Double or triple shifts About the Role • Support one child with emotional and behavioural difficulties, • Create a safe, nurturing, home-from-home environment, • Build positive relationships and provide consistent care, • Promote routines, boundaries, education and emotional development, • Experience in residential childcare is essential, • Qualification is desirable but not essential, • Caring, passionate, and reliable with strong personal values, • Someone with personality who genuinely wants to make a difference Interview Process Interviews will be face to face to ensure the right fit for the child, the team and the home. We are seeking a Senior CHILDRENS Residential Support Worker to join a new solo EBD home, supporting one young person with a 2:1 staffing ratio. Location: LE11 This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example and helping to shape a positive, nurturing culture from day one. Salary: £15 per hour | £60 per sleep Hours: 165–173 hours per month (including 2 monthly team meetings) Shift Pattern Flexible working options available: • Single shifts, • Double or triple shifts, • 10 long day sleeps per month Long Day Sleep: 10am – 11pm | Sleep | 7am – 10.30am (handover) About the Role • Lead shifts and support consistent care delivery, • Support and mentor Residential Support Workers, • Ensure high-quality, child-centred practice, • Promote stability, structure and emotional safety, • Work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Essential Requirements • Relevant Level 3 qualification (or above), • Experience in residential childcare, • Proven ability to lead shifts confidently, • Strong communication and professional judgement Our Ethos • Relationship-led care, • Home-from-home environment, • Strong focus on development for both children and adults, • No institutional approaches – everything is about the child, • We value personality, compassion and passion just as much as experience.
