General Manager Much-loved, high-energy, neighbourhood restaurant Central London circa £60,000 annual salary plus performance/KPI focused bonus 4 5-hour week | 5 days out of 7 Mix of evenings, days and weekends 20 days holidays plus bank holidays A brilliant opportunity to join and lead a much-loved, high-energy, casual dining, neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of London and work alongside an inspiring founder to shape and grow a business with exciting expansion plans. Described by many as a huge hug, this vibrant, fast-paced casual dining restaurant (30 covers inside, 15 outside) transports guests to experience the warmth of the Mediterranean through honest, homemade food with an authentic welcome and friendly, attentive service. The offer is la carte, small plates and sharing style, alongside a very popular weekend brunch. Here, team members support each other and standards matter. What makes this role particularly exciting is the trajectory: alongside leading the existing restaurant, youll play a key role in the pre-opening of a second London location, creating a natural pathway into multi-site leadership as the brand grows. The role Lead day-to-day operations of a busy, fast-paced neighbourhood restaurant Create a culture of genuine care, ownership and teamwork across front and back of house Inspire, develop and retain a team of 12 (Front of House and Kitchen) in a supportive, high-standards environment Deliver warm, consistent, detail-driven guest experiences - no shortcuts Drive pace, preparation and pride across all services (including brunch) Foster a positive, respectful workplace where everyone feels valued Work closely with the founder on people, culture and performance Plan and launch a second London restaurant planned for Q3 2026 Help shape the foundations for further growth and new openings About you Experienced hospitality leader in a busy, quality-led casual or neighbourhood restaurant Highly people-focused and visible - you lead from the floor Natural team builder who creates trust, confidence and accountability Organised, hands-on and energised by fast-moving service Passionate about providing an authentic hospitality experience Sets high standards while staying approachable and humble Welcomes feedback and is motivated to keep improving Excited by growth and the chance to evolve into multi-site leadership Pre-opening or mobilisation experience desirable This is a rare chance to join a genuinely loved independent restaurant at an exciting stage in its journey combining immediate impact with progression as the business expands.
