Senior Site Manager | Senior Construction Manager | Site Manager | Construction Site Manager\n Newport, NP10 8XL | £65,000-£70,000 per annum | Permanent | ASAP Start | Construction Introduction\n Acorn by Synergie is working in partnership with a national Tier One contractor that is looking to add a Senior Site Manager to their team on a permanent basis. \n \n As a Senior Site Manager, you will be part of a one-team ethos, delivering quality construction projects safely and on time, whilst also having a positive impact on the local community. What We Offer\n\n • £65,000-£70,000 per annum.\n, • 12.5% annual bonus.\n, • Car allowance.\n, • Private healthcare.\n, • Enhanced pension scheme.\n, • Life assurance.\n, • Incentive bonus.\n, • Motoring Expenditure Allowance (MEA).\n, • Access to a low-carbon and electric car leasing scheme.\n, • Permanent position with a national Tier One contractor.\n, • Opportunity to work on projects across Newport and the wider South Wales region.\nKey Responsibilities\n\n, • Report to the Construction Manager and manage the delivery of projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality.\n, • Provide effective leadership and people management.\n, • Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management.\n, • Implement project strategies to achieve the company's sustainability objectives.\n, • Establish standards of quality on-site and ensure delivery of a quality build in accordance with project specifications and requirements.\n, • Understand client priorities and adopt a professional and considerate approach to maintain good working relationships.\n, • Implement the supply chain policy.\n, • Adopt the principles of the Considerate Constructors Scheme and manage community relations.\n, • Ensure an appropriate site image is maintained to encourage repeat business.\n, • Produce and develop project programmes and control operations to achieve project delivery on time.\n, • Organise works and the supply chain to provide the right working environment and avoid disruption between trades.\n, • Undertake works in the most economical manner to eliminate waste and avoid non-recoverable costs and preliminary losses.\n, • Monitor and work to the agreed preliminary budget.\n, • Maintain continuous professional development to ensure appropriate technical awareness.\n, • Comply with standard procedures.\n, • Manage project handover and ensure defect and snag-free completion.\n, • Support the strategy for the closure of defects during the defects period and obtain a Certificate of Making Good Defects within agreed targets.\nRequirements\n\n, • Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects as part of a wider team.\n, • Ability to read and accurately interpret programmes, drawings and technical specifications.\n, • Understanding of and ability to appropriately share build programmes.\n, • Experience managing supply chains, direct employees and consultants.\n, • Experience proactively liaising with customers and the supply chain.\n, • Minimum relevant Level 4 qualification, such as HNC/NVQ4, or equivalent.\n, • Appropriate CSCS card.\n, • SMSTS certificate.\n, • Full UK driving licence.\n, • First Aid at Work certificate.\n, • Experience within healthcare or defence construction projects is strongly preferred.\nInterested?\n If you're an experienced Senior Site Manager, Senior Construction Manager, Site Manager or Construction Site Manager looking for a permanent opportunity in Newport and across South Wales, apply online today with your up-to-date CV or call our Construction Team. \n Acorn by Synergie acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
