Estimator & Contracts Manager Overview POST Recruitment are seeking an experienced Estimator & Contracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of interior fit-out projects valued between £1,500 and £1M. The successful candidate will manage pricing, JCT contracts, and resources, ensuring all projects have clear actionable parameters. Key Responsibilities • Estimating & Cost Control, • Prepare accurate cost estimates, tenders, and quotations in SIMPRO, • Conduct ongoing cost analysis to maximise department profitability., • Maintain and update cost databases, labour rates, and supplier pricing., • Surveying & Design Coordination, • Conduct site surveys and prepare detailed reports., • Produce and review drawings, specifications, and job sheets for glazing, metalwork, and interiors., • Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and technical documentation., • Contract Management, • Manage contracts from inception to completion, including procurement, scheduling, and delivery., • Liaise with clients, architects, designers, and contractors to establish design and installation specifications., • Supervise on-site and off-site staff to ensure quality and compliance., • Conduct post-contract analysis and performance reviews., • Client & Supplier Relations, • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors., • Ensure clear communication across all project stages to meet client expectations.Skills & Experience Required, • Proven experience in estimating, surveying, and contract management within the interiors, or fit-out sectors., • Strong understanding of project management principles, budgeting, and cost control., • Excellent communication and negotiation skills., • Proficiency with design and estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
