Responsibilities of the Resident Engineer Reporting to the Service Manager you will be in control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of material handling equipment on the customer's site. You will be working with an assortment of equipment including electric trucks. Managing your own work in progress, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, and be an active team player sustaining the company's prestigious reputation. You will be working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at their customer site.
