Salary \n\n • Basic Salary of £41,000\n, • Plus Bonus of £600 per month\n, • OTE of £47,000\n\n Working Hours \n\n • Monday to Friday 8:am-5:30pm\n, • ONLY 1 IN 3 SAYURDAYS!!\n\n Employer / Dealership \n\n • Hendy Group Vauxhall\n, • Brook Farm, Five Oak Green Road, Tonbridge, Kent, TN11 0QN\n\n What we offer you \n\n • Bespoke induction and learning programme and comprehensive ongoing training throughout your career;\n, • Enhanced family leave benefit;\n, • Life Insurance;\n, • Bupa Healthcare Cash Plan for you and your family;\n, • Opportunity to join the company pension scheme;\n, • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service;\n, • Discounts on new vehicle, used vehicle, service and parts purchases;\n, • Various perks and discounts with high street and online retailers and services.\n, • Sign on bonus *T&Cs apply\n\n The Opportunity: \n In your role as a Vehicle Technician, you will be authorised and responsible for the following: \n\n • Conducting full examinations of vehicles (including electronic vehicle health checks);\n, • Identify non-routine defects and faults either in the workshop or during vehicle road tests;\n, • Undertake timely repair and servicing of customer vehicles in accordance with technical standards;\n, • Provide a knowledgeable, courteous, responsive, and efficient service to all colleagues and workshop customers;\n, • Work closely with the front of house service team, ensuring they are kept informed of the progress on customer vehicles and are fully briefed on work completed;\n, • Discuss technical issues/works directly with customers when requested;\n, • Offer technical advice and support to workshop apprentices;\n, • Work with the wider workshop team to design and implement new methods of work to improve efficiency.\n\n About You: \n\n • You will need to be an experience Vehicle Technician (ideally from a main dealer/franchise environment);\n, • Have relevant formal qualification (NVQ Level 3 / IMI / City & Guilds);\n, • Ability to work within defined processes and guidelines, and to promote best practice throughout the workshop;\n, • Be customer focused, possess good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to a non-technical audience;\n, • Have a first-time fix mentality\n, • Committed to the development of your technical knowledge and skills;\n, • Be a team player, whether mentoring or supporting other Technicians;\n, • An MOT license would be highly advantageous, but not essential;\n, • A confident driver with a full UK driving license.\n, • Have a passion for the industry and a desire to succeed.\n\n Stellantis are a leading global automotive manufacturer made up of 14 iconic automotive brands including Peugeot, Citroen, Vauxhall, Fiat, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Abarth and DS. \n Stellantis UK has a national network of 795 franchised car dealerships.
