The role They're now looking for a Trainee Engineer to join their Fire & Security team in the London region - a hands-on, field-based role with a structured training programme, regular pay progression, and a clear path into a senior engineering career. You'll work alongside experienced engineers from day one, learning on the job while completing a comprehensive modular training programme with classroom-based elements covering a range of fire safety systems and industry standards. You will: • Assist with servicing and maintenance of fire alarm and fire safety systems, • Support engineers with testing, fault-finding, and system handovers, • Learn relevant industry standards and procedures, • Work across commercial sites throughout the London region Who we're looking for You don't need to be fully qualified - but you do need to be someone who shows up, takes pride in their work, and is genuinely eager to build a long-term career in the industry. You will bring: • Some experience or training in fire, security, electrical, or general engineering work is preferred, • Enthusiasm to learn and develop within the fire and security industry, • A professional, reliable, and proactive approach, • A full clean UK driving licence, • Good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team What's on offer • £25,500 - £28,000 depending on experience, • Quarterly pay increases as training modules are completed – engineers in the company are on £40,000 within 5 years., • Company-wide bonus - because as an employee-owned business, the success is shared, • A structured training and mentoring programme from day one, • Vehicle, uniform, tools, and equipment provided, • Clear progression into senior engineering roles, • A supportive team and management structure where people genuinely invest in your development
