Reporting to the Machine Control & Protection Team Leader, the job holder will be primarily responsible for providing technical assistance and project support to the Team. Additional Responsibilities: • Building and testing C&I equipment from specified drawings at MAST-U. - Carrying out maintenance and repairs to electrical and C&I equipment at MAST-U. - Performing upgrades and refurbishments to the electrical and C&I equipment at MAST-U. - Providing technical assistance and project support as required. Identifying issues or faults and providing suggestions for solutions and/or improvements. - Installing electrical cabling, fibre optics and assisting in the building of cubicles for the required departments in MAST-U. - Being the Responsible Officer for the MAST-U CCTV, providing weekly maintenance, along with installations, repairs, testing and replacements when necessary. - Responsible for upgrades and refurbishments to the MAST-U CCTV servers. Qualifications Essential Requirements: • HNC in electrical or electronic engineering, alternatively, the successful completion of a suitable Apprenticeship scheme. - Experience of working on electrical and control systems, with a good understanding of safe working practices. - Have a flexible attitude to working on different projects on MAST-U. - Ability to communicate with people at all levels throughout the organisation (due to multilingual staff). - Ability to work as part of a team and independently as required.
