Job Title: Field Engineer Location: Livingston and surrounding areas sites to be covered Employment Type: Full-Time Salary up to £28k + 4k allowance + Benefits Role Purpose: We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide on-site IT hardware and software support across multiple customer locations, ensuring service excellence and adherence to SLAs. Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose, repair, and maintain IT hardware including PCs, laptops, printers (local and network), and peripherals., • Support basic server, AV, telephony, and network-related tasks as required., • Resolve operating system and application incidents in line with customer and manufacturer procedures., • Execute IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) projects to customer specifications., • Maintain clear communication with Call Administration, Service Delivery Managers, and customer sites., • Manage part movements (RMA generation and returns) efficiently., • Meet or exceed defined KPIs and SLA targets., • Ensure compliance with site-specific Fire, Security, and Health & Safety regulations., • Accurately log all incidents and resolutions using the appropriate ITSM tools., • Stay up to date with new technologies and maintain relevant certifications., • Participate in 24/7 on-call rota (where applicable) and perform overtime when required., • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development., • Maintain company assets and ensure technical documentation is current., • Professional, presentable, and customer-oriented., • Full UK driving licence (essential for site travel)., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills., • Ability to obtain Government and/or Police Security Clearance (mandatory)., • Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills., • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience., • Proficient in OS admin tools, application support, and telephony., • Comfortable working at height and performing manual handling tasks., • Work with a supportive and skilled team across diverse client environments., • Gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and industries., • Opportunities for professional development and certification.
