The Senior Production Engineer (Electromechanical) heads up the team that defines the processes and procedures for how products are manufactured. Responsibilities will include: Leading a team responsible for supporting the production department in producing high quality products. Working with Production Supervisors, Quality, and other Departments to determine and define good working practices and critical processes. Provide engineering support to operations to verify process capability for all manufacturing areas. Review and highlight production capability related issues, by identifying problems, examining solutions, implementing action plans. Identify and mitigate production bottlenecks. Participate in the Product Introduction Planning activities to determine appropriate use of existing and new resources and equipment. Coordinate the design and building of assembly and process fixturing of production equipment. Plan and implement shop floor changes /layout improvements.
