Stores Manager Contract Type: Fixed term / Permanent – Full time on site Core working hours: 09.00 -17.30 Monday to Friday Location: Just outside Haywards Heath, United Kingdom Who We Are: At World Aero, we are an independent part 145 aviation component maintenance repair organisation. Join us and thrive in a dynamic, busy environment where your contributions truly matter. The role: We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Stores Manager to lead our stores department. In this pivotal role, you will ensure all aircraft parts, tooling, consumables, and materials are efficiently managed, compliant, and readily available to support maintenance activities. You will oversee inventory accuracy, regulatory adherence, internal relations, and the day-to-day performance of the stores team. Key Responsibilities • Manage all stores operations including receipt, storage, issuing, and shipment of parts and materials., • Maintain accurate inventory levels using our inventory management systems, • Ensure full compliance with aviation regulations regarding traceability, certification, shelf-life control, and storage conditions., • Provide leadership, training, and support to the store team, cultivating an environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, safety, and operational efficiency., • Coordinate with Customer Support, Maintenance, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure on-time delivery of parts and tools., • Monitor and improve processes related to stock control and flow., • Maintain audit readiness and support internal and external audits, liaising with our Compliance Manager., • Manage repairs, tooling register and calibration., • Ensuring our maintenance team has all the resources it needs to function efficiently. Skills & Experience • Proven experience in aviation stores, • Strong knowledge of aircraft parts certification, material handling, and regulatory compliance., • Highly driven, resilient, and ready to embrace any challenge., • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills., • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment., • Forklift (advantageous, not essential).
