Shift Details This is a full-time role with 37.5 contracted hours per week, with shifts available between 8:00am and 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday. Rotational shifts: Days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the people we support. What You’ll Be Doing You're Not Just Anyone - fulfilling careers at Lifeways on Vimeo You’ll be supporting adults who live independently in their own modern apartments at Centaur Court, a purpose-built supported living service in Colne, Lancashire. At Centaur Court, Lifeways supports people with: • Learning disabilities, • Autism, • Physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries Centaur Court offers: • Thirteen modern one-bedroom apartments, each with an open-plan kitchen/living room and a bathroom with a bath, • An accessible garden with BBQ for everyone to enjoy, • Walking, shopping, listening to music and watching TV, • Gaming, gardening, swimming and football, • Social time in the community Centaur Court is in a peaceful residential area of Colne, with easy access to local amenities: • Cafés, pubs, restaurants, high-street banks, library and post office nearby, • Close to Pendle countryside for beautiful walks, • Nearby Pendle Leisure Centre with a gym and swimming pool, • Quick access to Burnley (cinema, bowling, shopping centre, museums) and Blackburn (theatre, galleries, ice rink, shopping), • Bus routes within a short walk, and Colne train station around 6 minutes away with routes to Preston and Blackburn (additional source: PDF brochure), • Personal care routines, • Meal preparation and supporting with domestic tasks, • Supporting with appointments, • Social activities including crafts, gaming, music, cinema, gardening, sport and community events Have Impact Help people live more independently and with dignity.
