Location: North West Salary: £70,000 Per Annum Location: Regional role Reporting to: Regional Operations Director We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to support and lead our care homes across the region. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to positively influence resident outcomes while driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong commercial performance. You will work closely with Home Managers and senior teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, a safe and welcoming environment, and sustainable financial and business results. Key Responsibilities Provide strong, visible leadership to care home management teams, ensuring the right people are recruited, developed, and supported to succeed in their roles Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with organisational values and high standards of care Oversee financial and business performance, including budgeting, reporting, and identifying opportunities for improvement and growth Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, legal, and industry requirements, implementing action plans and effective risk management strategies Maintain and continuously improve the quality of care and the living environment for residents, ensuring homes are safe, comfortable, and person-centred Build effective relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, ensuring open communication and timely resolution of concerns Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse outcomes, and produce regular performance reports for senior leadership Identify training and development needs, providing coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support to managers and senior staff About You Proven experience in an operational management role within a care home or similar healthcare setting Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire high-performing teams Sound knowledge of financial management, regulatory compliance, and governance within the care sector Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders Analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and positive living environments for older people Able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment Qualifications NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (essential) Full UK driving licence How To Apply?
