Your new school Ripplevale School and College, is a thriving independent special school, for 170 students aged 6 to 25 years old, located in the historic town of Rochester. As part of the Ripplevale family of schools, we provide a holistic, child centred approach to meeting the needs of our students, most of whom have an Education and Health Care Plan. Identified needs may include Autism Spectrum Disorder, dyslexia, speech, language and communication difficulties, DCD, sensory, and high levels of anxiety. Your new role Ripplevale School Rochester is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join our specialist team. This is a fulfilling opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the education and development of our pupils across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4. Key responisibilites Teach Humanities subjects across all key stages and abilities up to GCSE level. Support the holistic development of pupils in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Plan and assess work to meet the individual needs of pupils and to promote progress. Foster a love of English and encourage creativity and critical thinking in pupils. This role offers a chance to work collaboratively within a specialist team, contributing to a positive school community dedicated to supporting every child's learning journey.
