Our new 237,000-square-foot Newport facility provides additional production and customer collaboration spaces, including 25,000 square feet of R&D clean rooms, 35,000 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing space and tool demo areas, all designed to support development of semiconductor process technologies across advanced packaging, power devices, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), radio frequency (RF) and photonics sector technology!Job Description Summary:Working alongside our existing Procurement Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for procurement execution, supplier performance management, and supply risk mitigation to ensure timely material availability aligned with project and production needs!Responsibilities:Procurement & Order ManagementRaise and handle purchase order requirementsReview and process supplier quotations (RFQs)Maintain accurate procurement data (pricing, lead times, supplier details) within ERP systemsExpediting & Delivery ManagementProactively supervise supplier deliveries to ensure timely fulfilment of manufacturing requirementsExpedite critical materials and negotiate revised delivery schedules where requiredShortage & Risk ManagementCommunicate supply risks to collaborators and advance issues where vitalDrive solutions such as dual sourcing, re-prioritisation, and alternative materials to ensure continuitySupplier ManagementDevelop and maintain strong supplier relationships to improve delivery performance and responsivenessLead regular supplier communications including delivery and cost management, to meet business objectivesLook to minimise impact on supply chain through outsourcing methodologies – Going further up the Bills of Materials.Project & Collaborator ManagementCollaborate across departments to align supply with build plans and contribute to supply chain decision-makingProvide regular material status updates and reporting to collaborators and senior managementReview and understand impacts on Supply Chain decisions made.KLA is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
