We work with a range of UK employers actively hiring across these roles Job Description: UK-Based (On-Site, Hybrid or Remote) About the Roles We're looking for experienced Finance Analysts and FP&A professionals at all levels—from Finance Analyst and Commercial Finance Analyst through to Senior FP&A Analyst and FP&A Manager—for upcoming roles across planning, forecasting and commercial finance. These are commercially-facing finance roles where you'll turn the planning cycle, the forecast and the board pack into decisions the business actually acts on. You'll work across the full planning and analysis lifecycle—from building budgets and forecasts through to performance reporting, scenario modelling and the commercial business cases that shape where money goes. The role suits someone who pairs strong financial-modelling discipline with genuine commercial instinct and the storytelling skill to make the numbers persuasive to a non-finance audience. Key Responsibilities • Build and own budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning cycles, • Produce monthly performance reporting, KPIs and board / executive packs, • Deliver variance analysis—actuals against budget and forecast—with sharp commercial commentary, • Business-partner with commercial, sales, operations and product leaders to drive performance, • Build and maintain driver-based financial models for revenue, cost and scenario planning, • Support pricing, investment appraisal and business cases (NPV, IRR, payback), • Own cashflow forecasting and surface working-capital insight, • Improve planning processes and FP&A tooling to make the cycle faster and sharper, • Translate financial analysis into clear recommendations for non-finance decision-makers, • (For Senior / Manager roles) Own the planning cycle end-to-end, lead analysts and present to the executive team What You'll Bring Technical Expertise: • Studying, part-qualified or fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA (CFA a plus), • Advanced Excel financial modelling—driver-based models, scenarios, sensitivity analysis, • Strong variance analysis and the ability to write commercial commentary that means something, • Familiarity with planning tools (Anaplan, Workday Adaptive, Pigment, OneStream or equivalent) is a plus, • BI and visualisation tools for self-service reporting (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent), • ERP familiarity (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics or similar), • Solid grasp of how P&L, balance sheet and cashflow interact Commercial & Soft Skills: • Genuine commercial curiosity—you want to know what's actually driving the numbers, • Storytelling—able to turn analysis into a decision for a non-finance audience, • Stakeholder partnering with budget holders and commercial leaders, • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritise in a fast-moving environment, • Strong attention to detail and confidence in your own figures, • Collaborative approach across finance and the wider business Domain Flexibility: • Roles span commercial, sales, operations, product and group / central FP&A across SaaS, retail, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and public sector, • Background in any of these is welcomed; appetite to learn an adjacent commercial domain valued just as much Experience Level: • Part-qualified entry level through to 6+ years for FP&A Manager and senior commercial finance roles, • Background in FP&A, commercial finance, financial analysis or management accounting with a commercial lean, • Examples of planning cycles, models or business cases you've owned end-to-end What We Offer • The opportunity to work where financial analysis genuinely shapes commercial direction, • Exposure to modern planning platforms, modelling tooling and BI, • Roles at the level you're ready for—we're hiring across the full FP&A spectrum, • A collaborative environment where modelling rigour and commercial instinct are both valued, • Clear scope to develop specialist depth (commercial, group, strategic finance) or stay broad, • Study support pathways where relevant, and flexible working arrangements (on-site, hybrid or remote) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • Flexitime, • Work from home
