Who are you? ● A flexible, motivated, hard working person willing to deliver all of the ingredients that we use to make our delicious pasta across London and outside London. ● You have at least one year of experience as a van delivery driver. ● You have a C1 driving licence and CPC. ● You can adhere to assigned routes and following time schedules. ● No points on licence. ● You are available to work day and night shifts from Monday to Sunday with 2 days off. What you'll do: ● Driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation. ● You may also be required to drive other company transport when required. ● Driving short and long distances depending on the route. ● Delivering our products across London. We do also operate outside of London which means that we may expect you to travel to places such as Cambridge, Nottingham, Cardiff, Liverpool,... to deliver our pasta meals and ingredients. In addition to having takeaway sites we also deliver to Ocado (Twickenham) and Harrods (Central London). ● Unload the delivery by hand into the kitchen where the team will accept delivery. May need to unload heavy trays. ● Completing delivery paperwork after completing delivery and providing a copy to the person accepting the delivery. ● Maintaining regular communication with route planners. ● Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects. ● Comply with UK Transport regulations. ● Reporting any issue to the relevant person. ● Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured. Possibility for experienced Waking Night Carer to take on 2 consecutive nights (consecutive per week, regular nights). We need to cover either Sunday & Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday and or Wednesday & Thursday. ** These are fixed nights.** and they are strictly waking nights. He has significant complex care and medical needs; he is reliant on his family and carers to meet all his needs and is supported by a dedicated team of carers and support workers providing 1:1 sometimes 2:1 24/7. He is autistic, non verbal, has a movement disorder and epilepsy which results in regular seizures, a PEG for medication and fluids but eats some foods orally too. He needs Catheterization and Peristeen Irrigation. It would be a bonus if you had experience in these already. He can walk with support but is also a wheelchair user. He lives with his loving and supportive family, who recognize that his team of carers and support workers are instrumental in his overall development and well being. Overview of role: He requires an experienced waking night carer to join his team to assist with his bedtime routine and tend to all his needs throughout the night. This is an active night as you will need to keep a close eye on him, and following protocols if he has a seizure, supporting him with personal care, monitoring for any signs of distress, and In the mornings administering his PEG feed and medications. You will help sooth him when needed, making sure he is comfortable, and he can get as much rest as possible. All activity throughout the night is to be accurately documented. Additional shifts available to cover leave etc. To attend staff meetings & supervision. To participate in training as required. To arrive in plenty of time to begin shift, read the handover notes and to receive information in handover from the team regarding the day’s events. Keep his environment clean and tidy.
