    Fresh X is looking for an experienced, hands-on Head Barista who cares about great coffee, friendly service and leading by example. We’re an independent café serving coffee, matcha, signature drinks and fresh food. You’ll take the lead behind the coffee bar, support our team and make sure every drink meets our standards. Your role • Prepare consistently excellent espresso-based drinks, matcha and signature drinks., • Dial in grinders and adjust espresso recipes to maintain quality throughout the day., • Deliver confident, consistent latte art., • Train and support baristas in drink preparation, workflow and customer service., • Lead the team during busy periods, keeping service organised and welcoming., • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and equipment care., • Monitor stock, help with ordering and reduce waste., • Work with management on new drinks and improvements to service. What we’re looking for • Previous barista experience and strong latte-art skills are essential., • Confident milk steaming, espresso extraction and grinder adjustment., • Experience leading shifts or supporting and training colleagues., • A friendly, reliable person who takes pride in their work., • The ability to maintain quality and work calmly in a busy café., • Willingness to help with all aspects of café service. Previous Head Barista or supervisory experience is preferred, but we’d also welcome an experienced barista ready to take the next step.

    The Role As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, maintaining high standards behind the bar and helping to keep the pub clean, safe and welcoming. You will be an important part of the team and will represent The Wheatsheaf every time you interact with a customer. Key Responsibilities • Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner., • Take customer orders and serve drinks efficiently., • Pour and serve draught beers, ciders, wines and spirits correctly., • Prepare cocktails and other drinks according to company standards., • Operate the EPOS/till system accurately., • Handle cash and card payments responsibly., • Check customer identification where required and follow the pub’s Challenge 25/age-verification policy., • Never serve alcohol to anyone who is underage or appears intoxicated., • Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar., • Replenish fridges, bottles, glasses, garnishes and other bar supplies., • Clean glassware, bar equipment and work areas throughout the shift., • Complete opening and closing duties to the required standard., • Support the team during busy periods, events, live music and match days., • Communicate effectively with managers and other members of staff., • Deal with customer questions, complaints and requests professionally., • Help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for customers., • Report any maintenance, stock or safety issues to management., • Work as part of a team to ensure the pub operates smoothly. Experience Previous bar or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right person, including our drinks standards, EPOS system, licensing responsibilities and company procedures.

Every year, CAAS supports hundreds of ADHD and autistic children, young people, adults and their families through information, advice, support services, training and community programmes. As demand for our services continues to grow, we are seeking a talented fundraiser who can help us build strong supporter relationships, develop new income streams, and ensure our vital work reaches even more people. About the Role Working closely with the Fundraising & Communications Manager and CEO, you will play a key role in developing and delivering fundraising activities that generate sustainable income and increase awareness of CAAS. This varied and rewarding role will include: • Developing and delivering community fundraising initiatives and events, • Recruiting and supporting individual and community fundraisers, • Building relationships with donors, schools, community groups and corporate partners, • Researching and developing new fundraising opportunities, • Supporting trust and grant applications, • Helping to grow digital and social media fundraising campaigns, • Maintaining fundraising records and supporter data using our CRM, • Representing CAAS at events, presentations and community engagements You will also act as an ambassador for the charity, delivering excellent supporter care and helping donors understand the impact of their contributions. About You We're looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, initiative and a proven ability to generate income through fundraising activities. You will have: Essential • Experience in a fundraising role, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector, • A successful track record in community fundraising, events, individual giving or related income generation, • Experience building relationships with donors, supporters, community groups or corporate partners, • Strong communication and presentation skills, • Excellent written skills, including experience preparing funding applications or fundraising materials, • Experience using a CRM or database to manage supporter information, • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, • A positive, professional and collaborative approach Desirable • Experience supporting fundraising volunteers or volunteer groups, • Corporate fundraising experience, • Experience contributing to larger trust and foundation applications, • Knowledge of digital fundraising and social media campaigns, • A fundraising qualification or equivalent experience, • Full UK driving licence You do not need previous experience of working with ADHD or autistic people.
