Job summaryWe're looking for a highly motivated Consultant Haematologist to join our friendly and dynamic department at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, part of the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire Group.You'll work alongside four experienced Consultant Haematologists to deliver comprehensive general and BSH Level 2b Haemato-oncology care, covering a broad spectrum of malignant and non-malignant haematology. Working within an integrated MDT framework, you will:Provide expert care across general and malignant Haematology, including Haemato-oncology, coagulation, and transfusion servicesParticipate in the 1:4 consultant on-call rota, with appropriate middle-grade supportLead and contribute to outpatient clinics, ward rounds, bone marrow lists, and the Haematology MDTOffer clinical advice and interpretation of Haematology investigations to medical colleagues across the Trust and in primary careTake an active role in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiativesSupport and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, with opportunities for involvement in research and clinical trialsParticipate in service development, bringing forward ideas for innovation and pathway improvementYou'll be joining a department that values professional growth, collaboration, and compassionate leadership.
