Project Planner – Bristol We’re working with a well-established main contractor who are looking to appoint a Project Planner to join their growing team. This is a key role supporting the Planning Manager and site teams in the preparation, coordination, and management of project programmes from tender through to construction. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in developing tender programmes and converting them into Master Construction Programmes, • Liaise with Planning Manager, Construction Directors and Contract Managers to finalise and update programmes, • Report progress and programme slippage to senior stakeholders, • Prepare method statements, logistics plans, and periodic reviews of key project timelines, • Maintain programme databases (Gateway) and ensure document control compliance, • Uphold Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards in line with ISO requirements, • Support company CPD, sustainability, and CSR initiatives Key Requirements: Essential: • Minimum 3 years’ planning experience in a construction environment, • Proficient in Asta Powerproject and/or Microsoft Project, • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project lifecycle, • Excellent reporting and communication skills, • Competent with Microsoft Office, • Experience working on live construction sites, • Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/BTEC/Degree), • CSR or CSCS card Desirable: • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design tools, • Understanding of tender documents, contracts, and commercial planning, • Knowledge of web-based document management systems, • CIOB accreditation This is a great opportunity to join a reputable contractor with a strong pipeline of UK-wide projects.
