If you are passionate about making a difference and leading a dedicated team, we want to hear from you! \n\nYour Role Overview\n As our Dual Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee two 2-bed homes in Barnsley. Your leadership will ensure that: \n\n • High-quality care meets legislative, safeguarding, Ofsted SCCIF, and organisational standards.\n, • You promote each young person's rights, wellbeing, and individual needs.\n, • You guide and support staff to maintain excellent practice.\n, • You oversee records, documentation, monitoring systems, and quality assurance.\n, • You assist with daily operations, decision-making, and service improvements.\n, • You maintain Health & Safety compliance and ensure staff training is up to date.\n, • You contribute to budget monitoring, financial controls, and resource management.\n, • You build strong relationships with external agencies, commissioners, and partners.\n, • Commitment to high-quality care and education.\n, • Team leadership or management experience.\n, • Strong safeguarding and child-protection knowledge.\n, • Level 3 Children & Young People qualification (minimum).\n, • Level 5 Leadership & Management (or willingness to complete).\n, • Understanding of vulnerable young people's needs.\n, • Safe working practice and strong professional boundaries.\n, • Excellent relationship-building skills.\n, • Emotional resilience and ability to maintain confidentiality.\n, • Commitment to equality and anti-discriminatory practice.\n, • Full UK driving licence and access to transport.\n, • 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.\n, • On-call payments up to £35.\n, • Pension scheme in line with organisational and government guidance.\n, • Petrol allowance when using your own car (business insurance required).\n
