Role Summary We are looking for a candidate to join the Workplace Technology Engineering Collaboration team, we require a senior systems engineer with extensive experience in similar roles within large-scale, complex, global organisations. The candidate should be proficient in technology strategy and roadmap planning, technology engineering, technology lifecycle planning and delivery, product selection (including business case planning), and technical project delivery (from initial conception through to transition into production). Broader, complementary skills such as commercial awareness, being evangelistic, delivery-focused, secure by design mindset, and having strong operations and customer awareness complete the profil e.Specifically, with in-depth, architectural/design level experience with Microsoft M365, Email / Exchange, Colleague Data, SharePoint, Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot agents, Power Platform, and related technologie s. As a Systems Engineer III, • I can:Own and drive the design and adoption of collaboration technologies across multiple Infrastructure domains, ensuring engineering effectiveness and strategic alignment. This includes delivering new and effective technologies that enable Tesco colleagues to be more productive and effi, • cient.Represent Infrastructure/Systems Engineering across all of Tesco Technology and with suppliers, demonstrating strategic and critical thinking in all interac tions. You will needIdeally, the candidate should have 6 years in a mid-senior IT technical role, with real-world demonstrable experience of technology delivery in the specific technology domain. In Tesco, this would mean 3-4 successful years in a Systems Engineer II role, having consistently demonstrated the core capabilities of a Systems Engi neer III.
