About the Role: As a Year 6 Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum, supporting pupils through their final year of primary education. You will play a vital role in building pupils' confidence, resilience, and independence, while maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum. * Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments and transition to secondary school. * Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all abilities. * Track, assess, and report on pupil progress effectively. * Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. * Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents. * Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion policies at all times. Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6. * Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks. * Confident classroom management and organisational skills. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
