MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\nManaging SCA project priorities, budgets and delivery from inception to end of defects\n\nManaging the opening and delivery of new free schools with the DfE, design teams and local authorities\n\nManaging and supporting estate condition, maintenance and asset management\n\nManaging capital elements of academy conversion projects\n\nPlanning, procuring and delivering high‑quality estate and project services\n\nManaging and monitoring external technical advisors\n\nManaging health & safety across all project lifecycles\n\nManaging third‑party suppliers and consultants\n\nManaging consultations, admissions, branding, marketing, FF&E and uniforms for new schools\n\nProviding professional property services and ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations\n\nAssisting with estate‑related policies, procedures and statutory frameworks\n\nContributing to capital fund prioritisation and overseeing capital projects\n\nAssisting in developing a carbon reduction strategy\n\nManaging and supporting key building programmes and reporting to senior leaders\n\nContributing to monthly project performance reports\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\nWe would like to hear from you if you have:\n\nA relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a project management environment\n\nEvidence of continued professional development\n\nProject management experience within education, not-for-profit or public sector \n\nExperience of coordinating projects in complex and challenging environments\n\nDemonstrable successful delivery of project outputs to required time, quality and cost\n\nThe ability to interpret and present complex information to inform robust recommendations for evidence-based practice and decision-making\n\nProven and well-developed interpersonal skills, including excellent written and spoken communication\n\nGood administrative, finance and organisational skills\n\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including strong Excel skills\n\nThe ability to work independently and flexibly with your own initiative on various ongoing projects\n\nA professional working ethic and a commitment to high standards\n\nThe ability to ensure that confidentiality is always maintained\n\nThe ability to upskill oneself with new areas of expertise\n\nFor a full job description and person specification, please download the Job Pack.\n\nAPPLYING FOR THIS POSITION\n\nIf you would like to discuss the opportunity further, or if you have any questions, please contact us via email to arrange a conversation.\n\nBefore applying please ensure you download the job pack from our careers website, this will help with completing your application.
