    We’re Hiring! Aims Care is looking for a reliable, proactive, and motivated Maintenance Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with maintenance experience who enjoys practical problem-solving and takes pride in maintaining high-quality environments. The successful candidate will work across our services, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure our properties remain safe, welcoming, and well maintained. Location: Epsom and surrounding areas Key Responsibilities • Carry out general maintenance and repair work across multiple sites., • Complete routine inspections and identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems., • Perform basic repairs including painting, decorating, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance., • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs., • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with health and safety requirements., • Maintain accurate records of completed work and report any concerns to management., • Liaise professionally with colleagues, contractors, and service users when required., • Assist with property improvements, refurbishments, and preventative maintenance programmes. Skills & Experience Essential: • Graduate qualification or previous maintenance experience., • Practical hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills., • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards., • Good communication and organisational skills., • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle., • Right to work in the UK. Desirable: • Experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or property services., • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or decorating work., • Understanding of health and safety procedures., • Experience working within residential, healthcare, or supported living environments.     Domiciliary Carer Location: West Sussex (community-based, visiting clients in their own homes) Contract Type: Zero Hours Contract initially – moving to part time/full time when client base grows Hours: Flexible, including mornings, evenings, and weekends as required Driving: Full UK driving licence required About the Role We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Carer to join our team in West Sussex. You will be visiting clients in their own homes, providing person-centred care and support that enables them to live independently and with dignity. As a key part of their daily life, you’ll make a genuine difference to the wellbeing of the people you support. This is a zero hours contract, offering flexibility to suit your availability, with work available across the West Sussex area.
