Are you an experienced Commercial Gas & Plumbing Engineer looking for a long-term role with excellent earning potential, ongoing training, and a supportive team environment?We are recruiting for two Commercial Gas & Plumbing Engineers to join a growing Facilities Management business delivering planned and reactive maintenance across schools and commercial buildings throughout Hampshire and the South.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Gas & Plumbing Engineer who wants stability, varied work, paid overtime, and the chance to work within a professional and well-established team.Benefits • £50,000 basic salary, • £175 per week on-call payment on a 1 in 4 rota, • Overtime paid at enhanced rates, • Company vehicle, • Mobile phone and tablet, • 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, • Private healthcare, • Company pension, • Full uniform provided, • Ongoing training and development, • Friendly team environment with company social eventsCommercial Gas & Plumbing Engineer duties, • Carrying out reactive maintenance and fault finding, • Completing plumbing and gas repairs across commercial sites, • Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), • Installing pipework, TMVs, water heaters, and plumbing systems, • Commissioning and testing commercial heating and hot water systems, • Completing servicing, inspections, and compliance checks, • Attending breakdowns and emergency call-outs, • Supporting mechanical refurbishment projects, • Updating records using mobile and tablet systems, • Working safely within school and public sector environments, • Supporting wider compliance and remedial works alongside mechanical and electrical teamsCommercial Gas & Plumbing Engineer requirements, • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering, • Commercial and Domestic Gas qualifications including:, • CCN1, • CENWAT, • CODNCCO1, • CDGA1, • CIGA1, • Unvented Hot Water qualification (G3), • Minimum two years experience within a similar role, • Full UK Driving Licence, • Experience carrying out fault finding and remedial works, • Good communication and client-facing skills, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • IT competent using handheld or tablet systemsDesirable experience, • Experience working within schools or public buildings, • Electrical safety awareness, • IPAF or PASMA, • OFTEC, • Experience working on oil-fired systems, • Air source or AC knowledgeWorking hours and overtime, • Full-time role working 40 hours per week, • Expected on site from 8:00am daily, • Earlier starts may be required depending on client requirements, • Time and a half after 6:00pm Monday to Friday, • Time and a half on Saturdays until 12:00pm, • Double time after 12:00pm on Saturdays and all day Sunday, • Weekend and out-of-hours call-outs paid door-to-doorIf you are an experienced Commercial Gas & Plumbing Engineer looking to join a growing business with excellent benefits and long-term progression, apply today.
