Sales Manager – Lead the Way! We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to lead the sales and business development of our online boiler cleaning systems. RJM is the exclusive licensee in the UK and Europe of Power Plus Cleaning System’s IMPULSE Cleaning system. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the sales and growth of this market for RJM International in the UK and Europe. If you have 8+ years of experience in business development and sales, a drive for making change in the energy industry, and a track record of selling and growing sales and are self-motivated and driven, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Be Doing Sales Leadership & Execution • Take ownership of delivering sales targets and contract scope., • Create and execute a 5 year growth plan for the UK and Europe., • Lead cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, technical support, and external partners, to drive revenue and customer satisfaction., • Develop and manage sales pipelines, commercial strategies, and territory/account plans., • Participate in technical meetings and project discussions to understand client needs and align commercial solutions accordingly., • Serve as the key point of contact for all commercial matters with clients and stakeholders., • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, partners, and strategic accounts., • Ensure all sales and contract activities align with client expectations, industry regulations, and contractual obligations., • Work on pricing strategies, proposal development, and bid submissions in collaboration with the commercial and technical teams., • Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships from a sales and contract delivery perspective., • Support the evaluation of tenders, ensuring competitive and compliant offers are submitted., • Track and report on revenue forecasts, gross margin, invoicing, and payment milestones., • Deliver structured sales reports, forecasting updates, and performance insights to senior leadership., • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities within the CRM system., • Work with a high-performing team operating across multiple regions., • Foster a results-driven culture focused on customer value, growth, and operational excellence., • Mentor and develop junior sales staff, providing coaching on solution selling, negotiation, and pipeline management., • Champion continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and client engagement strategies What We’re Looking For We value talent and expertise, but we also recognize potential. Must-Haves: • 8+ experience working on sales in the power generation sector, • Proven track record of sales and business growth, • Ability to create good personal contacts and understand client objectives, • Prior knowledge of thermal power generation and emissions control systems., • Supply chain management experience, • High proficiency in project controls: schedule, cost, risk, and documentation., • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills., • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution., • Willingness to travel regularly and work from the Winchester, UK office 3+ days per week., • Chartered Engineer or equivalent status., • Engineering degree or equivalent, • Previous experience on power station projects., • Existing network of contacts in thermal plant / boiler industry, • Familiarity with terms and conditions., • Full driving license.
