About the Role In this varied role, you’ll help design, test and review financial controls, carry out routine and risk-based assurance work, analyse data to identify trends or anomalies, and contribute to fraud risk assessments and awareness activities. You’ll act as an approachable expert for departments, supporting consistent implementation of financial processes and helping strengthen the University’s control environment. This role would suit someone with experience or interest in internal audit, risk, counter fraud or business processes, with strong analytical skills and confidence working in a large, devolved setting. About You • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills, • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and support colleagues at all levels, • High personal integrity, organisation and attention to detail, • Working towards or recently achieved a relevant professional qualification (accountancy/internal audit/counter fraud), or equivalent experience Desirable: Experience with Oracle Financials or Concur, and/or experience in higher education or another complex organisation.
