De Rosee Sa is a London and Lisbon-based architecture and interior design studio. Our experienced team takes a holistic approach to design, creating intelligent, atmospheric, and contextual residential spaces. We're looking for a Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join us at our Notting Hill studio. As an Interior Designer at De Rosee Sa London, you will be considered a key contributor in Interior Design and FF&E to the project teams across all stages and areas of work. You will report directly to the Project and/or Team Leads and Directors on tasks and deliverables to ensure the successful delivery of the project design, brief, scope, budget, and programme in accordance with the quality of De Rosee Sa’s design standards and brand. Key Responsibilities contribute to: • design process and deliverables in both Interior Design + FF&E, • the development of the concept brief through the preparation, implementation and analysis of bespoke questionnaires, industry research, benchmarking exercises and workshops • the development and delivery of the project design presentation material through reference imagery – mood boards, hand sketches, collages & 3D CGI’s • attend project meetings and workshops as appropriate, • work to budget and ensure project programme and deadlines are met, • mantaining good working relationships with the client, consultant team, contractors, fabricators and/or trade suppliers and other stakeholders on the project Interior Design contribute to: • material & finishes, product resourcing, and production of finishes & material boards, • the production of design intent, technical construction drawing and tender packages in alignment with De Rosee Sa’s drawing standards and project requirements • custom joinery drawing packages, • project specifications and schedules of design information, • co-ordination of design information with the client, consultant team, contractors, fabricators and/or trade suppliers and other stakeholders on the project • working with Building Control and other government regulatory bodies to interpret and conform to building regulations • monitoring construction documentation & review submittals (shop drawings, samples, prototypes & mock-ups) • attending site during construction as required for design compliance, reporting on progress and co- ordinating information with the team • liaising with the De Rosee Sa teams to ensure a complete coordinated design delivery and project close-out FF&E contribute to: • development and production of De Rosee Sa FF&E concept, • FF&E quotation process as required, • producing FF&E schedules of information utilising De Rosee Sa’s procurement software, • the design of bespoke and customised furniture, • the co-ordination and review of FF&E submittals (shop drawings, samples, prototypes, and mock-ups), • liaising with procurement process as required to include, invoicing, fabrication, shipping, delivery, warehouse storage and inspections of FF&E • the procurement team with the installation of all FF&E, • the sourcing, co-ordination & installation of art to achieve the project brief, • the FF&E close-out procedures• liaising with the De Rosee Sa teams to ensure a complete coordinated design delivery and project close-out *FF&E: includes all Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) + Decorative Lighting + Accessories + Styling Items Studio & New Business contribute to: • De Rosee Sa’s studio culture, initiatives, and talent development, • PR initiatives, including attendance at occasional networking events as an ambassador for De Rosee Sa London • the development and implementation of De Rosee Sa standards, • supplier relationships and curation of materials & finishes + FF&E Library, • keeping current of innovative and forward-thinking design in the industry, • participating in ongoing training and career development, • De Rosee Sa project photography and styling Qualifications & Experience An Interior Designer at De Rosee Sa has a strong level of competence and experience in the areas of Design Delivery - they should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, adaptive and have: • previous relevant industry experience in interior design + FF&E / +2 years with a focus in residential and hospitality design sectors • experience working on projects from conception to completion, • experience liaising with clients and confidence in client and team fronting roles strong skills in: • design, creativity and knowledge of interior design principles and elements, • FF&E sourcing and specification and supplier relationships, • interpersonal communication and teamwork - working well in a team, • organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines • technical and design drawing preparation, product resource organisation, and CAD documentation, • product specification and schedules of information, • relevant industry software (i.e. CAD/preferably Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modelling i.e. Rhino / Sketchup, and Microsoft Business 365) • ability to take on a mentorship role with junior interior designers and interns If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you.
